Emma Craythorne

Specialist Dermatologist and Dermatological (Mohs) Surgeon

Emma is on the executive board of the British Society of Dermatological Surgery

Emma Craythorne is a Consultant Dermatologist with a special interest in lasers and Mohs micrographic surgery. She completed her training in dermatology at Kings College London and undertook a Mohs and laser fellowship at the internationally-renowned skin hospital St John’s Institute of Dermatology at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital.

Emma has expertise in all areas of skin scarring, skin cancer, general dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.

Emma is also the Lead of the British Research Council skin cancer imaging research at King’s College London and runs the UK’s only service for detecting and managing skin cancer using reflectance confocal microscopy.

Emma regularly appears on The Bad Skin Clinic and many of the episodes were filmed at 152 Harley Street. The show continues to be screened on Discovery Channel (Quest Red) and follows patients with debilitating skin conditions through their treatment plans and ultimately transforms their lives.
